Hello, thanks to Marc Rowley for introducing me to this forum! I'm Charlotte, live in the Abergavenny area, passionate snowboarder/surfer! Also love wakeboarding but find it too pricey so am super keen to get into kite surfing Smile At present only have a little 2 line 3m Slingshot kite & a mountain board! Normally surf in Porthcawl but itching to try the board and kite!

Hi Oz, and welcome to the forum.
You will find a great bunch of kiters here in S.Wales poss the best social crowd in the UK

As soon as we get wind again...(it's been desperate the past two months and wasn't much better before that) I'm sure you will see more posts on here and get to meet all the regulars at Rest Bay and Aber

Look forward to seeing you, another girl on the beach for Sarah (maui) to kite with.
(There are quite a few girls kiting here already but we don't see too many during the winter months)

Marc

Hi Charlotte check out our website here:

http://www.blastkiteboarding.co.uk/accessories/protection/

We've not uploaded all of them as yet but here's the others by Mystic
http://www.mysticboarding.com/products/men/impact-floatation-kitewindsurf

But don't buy just yet as we can advise on kit like this when we meet i.e not to buy anything with buckles etc on them and also tbh not many wear them anyway! Wink

Hey Maui

Thanks for this Smile
Yeh I've been reading about those damn buckles haha and I need protection, very accident prone in every extreme sport I do! Kinda wanna go big whenver I get a rush of adrenaline haha but that's me pushing mysel out of my comfort zone
