Hi there,
Thought I'd sign up here as I'm getting a weekend of lessons in a few weeks, hoping to gather enough kit to be able to get out soon after too.
I'm coming from a mainly cycling background (mostly MTB but I've been getting a few road miles in lately) hope to catch up with some of you as I progress.
Cheers,
Mickey.

Hello, you'll find there is a good crowd on the kite surf scene in South Wales. I don't travel to Pembrokeshire much due to distance but a few people do go down and put where they are going on the sessions.

Watch out its an addictive sport, but you have to be persistent, especially in the first few months, more time on the water the better Wink

A fair few of us mountain bike to fill in the time if there is no wind (so there has been a lot of mountain biking recently) at Afan/ Glyncorreg. Great group to be with too.

Thanks for the welcomes people, been making the most of the nice weather this weekend. 50 miles on the road bike yesterday and 14 on the MTB today and I managed an hour on the beach with the foil yesterday but the wind wasn't up to much.
Lessons next weekend though (if the wind returns) Smile
