but strangely mild ! Still 10C getting bumpy again later in week...

Another Atlantic low pressure system is expected to deepen significantly as it tracks towards the UK. Unlike its predecessors, this system looks like taking a more southerly track, with the greatest risk of gales or severe gales being across Wales. England and parts of Northern Ireland. The strongest winds will be in southern and western exposure, where severe gales are likely. As well as the very strong winds, a band of squally rain is also likely to push southeast across England and Wales through the period.

Just been over to the pier, it's minging at the moment, raining and gusty gale force winds....the prom road is white from all the foam blown up over the prom.

Think I'll rest my ankle Laughing

Well, some good news with the car. Just a crankshaft sensor. Cost me £27 and 20 mins.

Hoping to get out tomorrow too, will keep an eye on the weather.

Snow forecast from 18:00 !!!!! Snowkite time

Please keep an eye on the forecasts before going out . This is the Met Office update:

A cold westerly airstream will spread across the area on Tuesday evening, allowing frequent showers in the overnight period to fall as snow, especially over high ground. There is some uncertainty over how much snow will settle at low levels, and many places within the yellow area may miss the snow altogether. However, where snow does occur it is likely to be heavy and produce a covering quite quickly.

Coastal areas facing west or southwest will probably miss most of the snow, but hail and lightning will be hazards here, along with gusty winds.

I did - I had that in mind. Weird how Aber is all over the place and Rest is relatively stable. Why did it have to be a week of high tide...??

Just checked the beaches here, surf is huuuuge, a massive squall came through and you could hardly stand up in the wind it was so strong let alone put a kite up

Leave Saturday for Madonna di Campiglio which is near Passo Tonale where we went last year so we can easily get bus there for a few days as we know plenty of off piste there.

We have been to Madonna for day trips from Tonale so know it a little and it's a much bigger resort so hopefully find some powder there also.

45cm due tomorrow alone cheers

That video is incredible - i just spent 5 minutes staring wide-eyed at the screen, agape. My heart stopped about 30 seconds in.

Mind you, in terms of time spent on piste versus time spent on lift i get better value every time, he's too quick for his own good.
