PostSubject: Epic Customer Service   Thu Dec 04, 2014 5:20 pm

Once again Epic have surpassed themselves...and every other brand we know.

We have a very good customer who bought an Epic "Surf" earlier this year and whilst in Brazil (not with us) the leading edge blew on it.

We met up and I gave him our 8m whilst I tried to do what I could with Epic...not holding any breaths as it is over 9 months old.

The guy is also a bit of a clunderf*ck though and since we left Brazil he has also snapped 8" off the nose of his surfboard and snapped all four lines on a kite..plus various other "accidents" to himself!

Anyway Epic couldn't really tell from the pictures we sent as it had already been repaired whilst in Brazil (he's there for 5 weeks) but Epic took my word on the situation, so.....

A few emails later and a brand new 8m is wingin' it's way to us.

This is why we have such a strong allegiance to Epic and Dimitri, in 14 years of being in this industry I have never had service like this from all the other brands we have dealt with. i.e. the "big boys" who couldn't give a flying monkley's when the shit hits the fan!

Love Epic

There is a famous story , going back many years. Naish I think had a wave board, long story short it just broke not even in waves. Naish didn't want to know and left Marc and the shop to pick up the cost. Seems small is beautiful , company wise Smile

Yup and that was just one failed warranty that we were left picking up the pieces for. Sadly the customer doesn't always see what we have to go through only that they get the money back (understandably) and often we never got a credit from the supplier.

There are reasons why we supply the brands we do, because we know they care and will also stand by us!! cheers

So far all the brands we now deal with have been great in this aspect but Epic & Blankforce have been exceptional, it helps when we can actually speak to someone at the top rather than going than messages being passed down the line and then getting lost. Evil or Very Mad
