I've just returned from Aberavon and to be honest was a bit shocked to everyone launching/landing/and riding straight out in front of the new car park.....at high tide!!

Are people really that f'kin lazy to walk a hundred metres up the beach.
Whilst I was there most were riding from in front of the rocks down past the yellow kite flag and in front of the concrete steps...concrete steps are f'kin hard, ask Ross Milton
Which by the way is 10 years today, do we need another accident like that in the area???

If you want to and insist on launching within 10-15feet from the rocks, riding then in the same area and at high tide well that's just bloody plain lazy and extremely selfish. If you injure yourself fair enough but I for one don't want to see the sports banned at Aber.

We spend a lot of time trying to drum the word DISTANCE into students, it's quite a simple thing really but could save your life........these same students will then show up one day and follow the lead of the rest of you lazy lot and the next thing they will have an accident and we lose a beach.

I left early in the end 'cos I could'nt watch any more.

Rant finished!

Marc, If it means anything, one of the main things I learnt in your lessons is DISTANCE. that will always be at the forefront of mind when i kitesurf.

I just assume that everyone else thinks the same way, but apparently not Sad

Two more muppets self launching right in front of the rocks today (at the same time) and then proceeded to walk the long walk to the water...it was low tide.  Evil or Very Mad
