hi there, relative newbie here, I have an 11m Epic 4G going great, but looking for something smaller in case the wind picks up on a trip i'm heading on. Will be on flatwater.

Suggestions and offers welcome. I liked the Airrush DNA when i tried it with Marc/Richie.

I guess cool if i can use my existing bar & lines, but not essential if good deal.

Have messaged xenium about a used 6.5m Renegade we can sort but also the DNA's are stupidly cheap even new.

The 6.5m Renegade has a huge wind range...massive in fact.

New 2014 6m DNA £529 K/O

Quick q: can the epic bar be used on the DNA kites, if so any special adjustments?

Any recommendations, what would be a good size/type for beginner 83kg rider in 25-35 knot wind.

Yesterday someone kindly loaned me a demo 9m Peter Lynn in that wind, i rode it fully depowered, as i couldn't get the depower line out of the cleat, but also i was afraid if i did i would fly home to Wiltshire!  Shocked

Hi mate,

yup the Airush DNA will be fine on an Epic Bar, they do 6 & 8m so it's your choice really. The 8m would probably be best and go well under your 11m Renegade (unless you want to chase storms) and as we mentioned the 6.5m Renegade has a huge range and will also work well with the 11m.

Hi Alex
Dont buy a 7M it will not be used very often, as you need crazy wind for it, get an 8 or 9M far better. If you are going out round my area Llanelli send me a text 07772593721 as im not often playing with the majic telly.
