I only plan one big bag and my surfboard bag, so could probably take another bag if it would help?

I need to get a bigger bag, I tried packing my surfboard last night and it won't fit. I should have foreseen this dammit! Doh!

Victoria, no worries, just come around on Friday afternoon/evening when you're back from London. I am working from home on Friday, so will be there. We can re-pack, got loads of room in my bag and if it's Kev's board I know it will fit. Then you can stay at mine Friday night, (got a large guest bedroom) and Jon can pick us up together in the morning.

I've had an email from Cumbuco guesthouse telling me the distribution of rooms for our 1st night, we have 1 room in house 1 (the main house) 2 rooms in house 2 & 1 room in house 3. We only get dropped off at house 1, house 3 is the furthest away. So, our suggestion is, pack so that u can just take what u need for the 1 night and the morning and we put all our bags in the room in house 1. We will be receiving and packing the hire cars at house 1 early the next morning so there's no point in lugging all our heavy bags to the various houses.

We are allowed to leave our big board bags at the guesthouse, so it will be a bit of a rush Sunday morning I'm afraid to pack the cars, minus the board bags, so that we can get to Paracuru for our 1st day of kiting.

Valerie your address is not on the way from my house. It's a 20-25 minute drive in the opposite direction. If anyone's address was on the way I'd happily pick you up but before and after a day's travelling I don't fancy extending my day providing the Platinum Executive All Inclusive Champagne service..I'm more than happy to take people but EXPECTING door to door isn't really on. It may be "easier" for you but not me, read back the forum posts lol. So. Anyone who wants to share my lift your are more than welcome, really all welcome. We will split the fuel and parking between us equally. I'll pm you my address for departure, as an alternative which IS on the way I can pick up at Coryton J32 where I join the M4...Ages since I've done the Heathrow journey but was thinking of being on the road by 6am unless anyone advises earlier...

They had better winds yesterday, these are bigger guys and doing freestyle on the lagoons so generally need more power. The place where the car was broken into is a known trouble spot for thefts.

Valerie and hicks. Just spoken to sav and decided to meet a little earlier as we are picking up kit at one of the service stations on the m4. He's getting her for 5 to be on the road by 5.15/5.30. We also discussed the parking. I'm happy to use the drop off and pick up at the terminal building, it's a little more but well worth it for convenience and speed. I've pm'd my details to all along with my mobile...

I'll still try and supply champagne lol. Parking is just over £105, that includes dropping the van at the terminal door tomorrow and it'll be ther for us at the terminal when we arrive back.. I know sav is up for this. Valerie and hicks ok?

Started packing for the return journey....had a great downwinder here in Cumbucu on my one kite quiver (6.5m Renegade)

This has been the best trip we have ever done in my opinion, so many good times. Warm enough to kite in shorts only, bangin' winds, surf, flat water, great food.

We look forward to having some feedback from those that came and made it the awesome trip that it was.

Still buzzing from this adventure. Without doubt the best kiting I've ever experienced. I don't know how this could be topped, perhaps doing it again...massive thank you to Sarah and Marc for setting it up and leading us Top Gear style. Also thanks to all the support/maintenance/repair/spares team who helped keep me on the water, you know who you are. Oh and thanks to valeriebank for the loans...unbelievable kiting, fun, super hot, great company and wonderful memories... Til next year

"Adventure" is the word braaa

I have txt you but guessing your mobile is still playing up, we have your board bag here. They delivered it yesterday but were going to take it back to Heathrow as you weren't in.

I heard you have your other bags, they have just delivered our remaining bags also.

Made it to work with an hour to spare Very Happy

Thanks for a great trip guys, awesome holiday as always Very Happy
Thanks to Marc and Sarah (mostly Sarah) for organising it. Very Happy
Hope everyone had a great time!!

(Oh and I need new screws for my boards, they were in the bag that shall (realistically, probably) never be seen again Very Happy )
