Two lots of three would make sense, cost wise.
We just need two vehicles that will each take three people and their gear.
The mini bus we used for everyone one time was pretty uncomfortable and we pretty much all agreed to try something different next time...

I can drive but my car (Honda Jazz) can only take 2 people (me + another) plus luggage.

Agree with Ian.
So 2x vans, 6x people...... who's going in who's vehicle?

Even with one van and one car, all the kit can go in the van, and the people can go in the car.

What about if splash takes Marc and Sarah (picking them up going through Porthcawl) and I take Victoria and Valerie? Victoria could either stop at ours or with Valerie the night before as it will be quite an early start.

Or..... Valerie and Victoria could meet up with splash and Marc and Sarah could leave their car at my house?

How much to run Ian in to the beach at every opportunity and generally annoy him for the whole holiday? Any takers? I'm prepared to negotiate a tidy sum... Very Happy

Don't forget your 1st aid kit for your kites, we don't take spares I'm afraid. The heat has been known to melt off valves especially.

Here's a little in site to your 2 weeks with us

15th Nov: arrive in Brazil, spend 1st night in Cumbuco
16th Nov: leave as early as we can, for Paracuru, stay here until 19th.
19th leave early for Jerricocara, here until 23rd
23rd leave early for icaraizhno, here until 27th
27th leave for Cumbuco
29th flight home.

Cumbuco guesthouse has 3 houses and unfortunately we are scattered between them, but we all eat breakfast at the main house, as far as I know all rooms have 2 people in.
Don't forgot to print out the form I put a link to a while back, anyone can't find it give me a shout. The lay over that we have in Lisbon airport is 1.5hrs on the way out and 2hrs 40, on the way back so u mind want to put a small amount of Euros in for something to drink and eat. Any questions just should.

Transfers are booked from the airport at 120 reais per car this has gone up by 20 reais from last year which could be an indicator of price increase's.

The exhaust has just gone on my van Sad
I am trying to source a replacement at the moment, but if I can't get a replacement part fitted in time for the weekend, can anyone else drive?
I hope to get it sorted, but it would make sense to have a 'plan B'......

Sorry to bearer of bad news, but we are going to have to instigate 'plan B'!

Exhaust wasn't a problem but the rust hole less than thirty cm from the suspension mount was Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

So the van will be undergoing some serious welding action while I am in Brazil.....

What time is someone coming to pick me up Shocked

Sorry guys

Yes taking 4 is no problem. I'm in caerphilly not far from the m4. 1 Vehicle can be left on my drive and there's room in the street to leave others, it's a quiet cut de sac.. Cash has just arrived and Ive started packing..I need some heat.. Oh and any1 travelling with me who has a Gucci new surf board has to let me have a go!!!!

I leave in Cardiff right next to the M4 (near Western Avenue). Cars can also be left in my street (cul de sac at rear). I think I am the closest to Heathrow... So probably would make sense to be the last one to be picked up...let me know anyway

Mrs Sav can drop me off, so no need to leave a car anywhere for me. :-)
Any idea what time you want to leave?

Leaving time will depend on where Jon has booked parking, since transfer to airport from parking must be factored in. From my place to Heathrow is about 2.5 hours with normal traffic (which should be OK on a Saturday morning).

OK, just heard from friends already in Cumbucu, the winds have been light there...11m or so. It should be more further up the coast but Paracaru may still be lightish!?

Also two of them (at least) have had kites stolen from cars (so NO kit left in cars at the beach etc) and they are desperate to get kites taken over,I'm taking one 11m for one of them but if anyone has spare space let me know asap.

Also Sav, did you want to take the Shinnster (or anyone else) I'm sticking with my surfboards.
