Has anyone flown an 11m Renegade on longer lines than the stock 22m.
Thinking of making up an extension set say 3m i.e making em 25m to get a bit more light wind power.
I know other would be a trade off with longer lines more power less turning speed.

You have answered your own question there Ash...Percentage increase in power with extra 3m is going to be marginal..what about bigger kite option for light wind??

Can't see how 3m extra would make any difference in power, it would just slow the kite down decreasing the ability to generate power by hard and fast turns. Extra weight and drag too deceasing kite efficiency. Go bigger kite! MORE POWER!

You're bang on Ash, it would increase power slightly by giving it a bigger window but also slowing down turning speed.. I'm not sure if its the same with LEI's but with foils adding 5m to lines has a similar effect as adding 1m of kite.
Another option, cheaper than another kite is to get a bigger board for light winds.

Thanks guys, yeah bigger kite is best option but unfortunately the most expensive, really just looking at the cheapest quick fix. Epic have decided on 22m lines as there optimum across the whole range of there kite types and sizes it appears whereas some other manufacturers recommend different line lengths for different kite sizes dependent on what feeling you want for your kite, North for example.
