Might seem obvoious to most but how do you know when you have the correct amount of trim on your kite for the conditions and how can you tell if you have too much and too little trim.

Thanks guys,
Thinking more of when you have the kite in the air and are adjusting the centre lines with the pull pull/ clam cleat or whatever sytem to shorten or lengthen them. How do you know if you have over or under adjusted them for the conditions for optimum performance rather than just yanking all the way one way or the other?

PS.
Ade this isn't a euphanism by the way.
