Sounds cool Mark but it is usually stupidly expensive to go over on the ferry in a van, especially one our size. I would love to go to Ireland but when we've looked into it before the price is not far off the same as going to Portugal or somewhere. :-)

You can though use clubcard points on that ferry so costing very little if you ahve loads of points.
Its showing 306 quid return that week in oct so you would need 100 quids worth of clubcard points

Yea got to b honest not looked at prices yet... Although the club card idea sounds cool... Whateva happens really want to try and make the trip this year, looks such an awesome place right on our doorsteps...
And as much as would like to catch it in one of the exotic locations, to be at a ksp event would b awesome... When u c some of the waves over there.... To c some of the top kitesurfers doing there thing could b insane Very Happy

Although fair point about Portugal Wink

we have looked into ireland with the van too and its crazy expensive, plus its not cheap once your out there at the moment. We are toying with the idea of going over to france, the Dover Calais ferry for our van plus 2 adults and begbie came in at 140 return!! then drive along the coast to Brittany maybe

An option for Ireland is for a number of us to go over in cars and rent a cottage, shouldn't cost too much then between us. :-)
