Hi all

Just like to say, had a great 2 day lesson with Tom (My 2nd)
Got up on the board and went along a bit! but was so suprised to do it I usually would fall off again.
Got the bug big time but live in Worcestershire. (Not good for kitesurfing)

Will come down again and hire some kit and practice.
Can anyone suggest after I buy my kit from Marc anywhere nearer I can surf?

Sir Monty Battenburg (new chap on the Forum)

Hiya

Its is unfortunate being in a land locked county (believe me I know) , especially when reading about those awesome sessions people get in after work or during the week!

There aren't really any paces for you surf around Worcestershire , well no where which is safe and more than likely cold and deep sloping sides and with token inland gusty winds due to hills, tree etc!! (anyone correct me if I'm wrong)

The best thing probably is to continue with South Wales, People Kite surf Weston and Brean too...I know its a long way (or feels it) but it will mean you'll meet people on the beach and make some friends within the sport and have people watching your back if you end up in trouble!

I know that people land board on common areas in Worcestershire and also land board in the middle of Hereford Racecourse so that may be an option in winter months if you want to practice, and there is always the winter wetsuit option!!

Yeah, tell me about it.

Make some new friends and you can share lifts which help make the journeys more fun and a bit cheaper.

Look up the Worcester Kite Monkeys, I know a few of them, they are a good bunch.
