One of the best tutorial DVD's is the progreesion on,

http://www.blastkiteboarding.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=178

But I would say one of the first questions to ask is, do you do your backloop by moving the kite or not? If you don't, first of all I would practise this first. Do your backloop as if you are doing a normal jump and then incorporate a backloop aswell. Does that make sense?
Not sure whether anyone else is of the same opinion?

yeah I backloop with the kite but I want to go back the other way. I find that hard as the kite generally falls out of the sky.

You are possibly not edging enough before you jump, as if you don't edge enough, you tend to swing underneath the kite causing it to fall out of sky. Once you've done your backloop, using the kite, you need to pull really quite hard on your NEW front hand to get you going in the new, opposite direction.

Dave,

This is how i do mine.

I start the back loop with the kite at 11.o clock, by edging hard.

I take off my front hand thus leaving my back and on the bar which is positioned close to the de- power line( this will be my new front hand when the transition is complete). As i come round to land the back loop i look in the direction that i want to travel this puts my shoulders and upper body in the correct position.

It is key to pull hard on your front hand to gain the power to be able to sail away from the move.

once you have completed the move sail away with a big smile.

Let us know if you have been successful
