I've been looking around eBay to see what's on offer for a beginner to the sport and I wonder if anyone could provide some advice on the following options that I've found ? Ideally, I'm looking for a 12m which is forgiving, stable and easy to relaunch !

Flexifoil Ion3 12.5m - not sure whether this is totally suitable for a beginner ?

North Rebel 2008 12m - I know these are popular, and I learnt with one, some damage on the LE and depower line, is this serious ?

Slingshot Link 12m - don't know much about these, seems to be a good brand and a suitable kite ?

Cabrinha Crossbow 12m - apart from the dayglow yellow ( Cool ) this looks like it could be a good quality kite ?

GK Sonic 14m - I don't know much about GK, but think this is the 2007 ? Bigger than I really want and maybe shows it's age, but could be an absolute bargain ?

Thanks for any advice you can offer to help me avoid the potential pitfalls of eBay !

Found another one, not my first choice of colour and as it is a few years old would probably not be as easy to use as a more modern kite, but I doubt I will find anything cheaper !

Cabrinha Switchblade 12m

Thanks again.
