Hey, how are you doing? Two days ago, i posted on kiteboarder.co.uk....but it seems to be more active here..
My name is felix. I will study in swansea for one year. therefore i brought all my kite stuff here :-) (blade Vertigo 2007 10&14 qm, 133x40 & 138x44 RL-Boards) I started kitesurfing one year ago..so im not pro, but also no beginner.
At first i do have a couple of questions :-)
1. Is there any good and cheap sailmaker in swansea..i have to shorten my 5th line
2. How are wind and temp conditions in winter? Im looking for a new neopren for winter. So if you know any good shop in swanse, please let me know. waht do you think.. do i need a smaller kite for south wales in winter?


At the moment i dont have a car and know absolutly no person (and for sure no kiters) here :-) So, if you want to start a Session in swansea bay or could give me a ride to other spots, i would be happy...will pay in alcohol :-) (just having a drink would be fine too :-))

you will find us all friendly here.
In the winter you can expect temps from -1/2C (unusual ) to 9/10C water will be down to about 8C a good winter suit will get you thru.
most are 5/3mm or even the new hyperflex stuff from oneill et at 3.5mm.
I will PM you my mobile number give us a txt and if we are down can let you know. There is usually a good busy kite scene at the uni
Oftern many kites just in front when the tide is in so no need to drive.
