A good mate of mine here is having some super bad luck.
1st they arrange for some clients to come over to do a 10 day downwinder, day one they drown the hi lux, and almost submerge it completely, ruining his new imac and loads of other gear. The truck is almost a write off and not covered by insurance.
A few days later he hits a wave head on and snaps both bones in his leg, fracturing his tibia! He is now waiting to try to get a flight home ASAP
